About The Dandora Initiative

Founded on the belief that every child deserves access to nutrition, education, and opportunity

Our Mission

To empower many generations of children in Dandora through sustainable programs in food security, quality education, and youth athletic/ performance arts  development.

Our Vision

A future where every child in Dandora has access to nutritious food, quality education, and the opportunity to pursue their athletic  and musical dreams.

Our Values

We are driven by compassion, accountability, transparency, and a commitment to sustainable, community-led change.

Our Story

In March 2026, Richard Omondi, a Sports and Exercise science graduate from Kenyatta University in Nairobi Kenya launched a partnership with Dr. Matthew Alexander Catsuro, one of the most influencial physical therapy and Sports Sciences voices globally. This partnership wa born from an interaction that acknowledged the difference in exposure to opportunities among young athletes and proteges in the musical art space in both Kenya and the US, hence the Dandora Initiative was born.

What started as a grassroots effort to provide meals in one community has grown into a comprehensive movement impacting thousands of lives. Today, we operate across 25+ communities, demonstrating that when you address nutrition, education, and opportunity together, transformation happens.
Our success is built on partnerships with local communities, committed volunteers, and donors who believe that every child deserves a fair chance.
